RANT ON!

I think it is time for every American, be it democrat, Republican, libertarian or whatever other political persuasion, to step back and take stock in where our country is and is heading. For those who believe the constitution is the backbone and the foundation of our liberty, the vision of where we are feels like a mortuary viewing of a recently deceased friend.
Most run of the mill non-political observers see the country is in turmoil and while concerned, don’t see any danger other than from a vicious killer that takes 1 of 100 infected. Many democrats see the world in the rose-colored glasses as their party is in power and they, for the most part, trust things are or will be ok. There are however a percentage of democrats that lack the “party is always right” delusion and those fall into the fearful category. Not of the disease but of the direction those in power have and are taking us. They like other political animals have lost faith in what lies next. The republicans are split into factions. Many are like the lockstep democrats, trusting in the political process and knowing their government is always trustworthy. The other republican fringe is leaning more towards the constitutionalist point of view and see America as a corpse waiting to be incinerated or shoved into the ground to make way for the brave new world. They see the new world as one that is not based in you as an individual with your personal right to life and liberty, but one that will become the food for the colony.
Individual rights inspire and motivate, Collective rights breed lazy, selfish lemmings that can be forced to do anything and everything as they have no self-worth and are of no value to those who have the power to decide.
For the most part only a small percent of any group feels good about where we are as a nation. A president that appears only occasionally over 50%, a media that has about 15% trust, medical leaders that have lied to us (for good reason they tell us) and keep moving the goal post on our safety insisting just one more vaccine and we will be safe, not safe from the virus but safe from the discrimination against the un-vaccinated.
None of us ever thought our government would allow lawlessness and anarchy the likes of which even the people of Portland, Or., find appalling. The standing down of police to allow two groups to fight it out in the streets for over an hour is a testament to all I have stated here. We have witnessed the decline of our country to a 3rd world status while the masters do nothing to uphold their “oath of office”
We have this year alone, added over 1 million new immigrants of which admittedly unknown numbers have increased the spread of the plague as they are bussed around the country including those known to be positive transmitters of covid. Americans were not told in most media circles this was transpiring. Those who are aware feel more of the uncertainty coupled with anger.
So at every turn, lies uncertainty, apprehension and anger. These feelings are real and are about the only things we all can agree upon. Fear divides and we are divided, No longer those “United” states, but split into a variety of perceptions not unlike a spaghetti western of the Good, The Bad and the Ugly.
Where does it end, or does it have an end? Are “we the people” of any importance now? I can only hope and I have to believe we do matter and we are not doomed to this never-ending lock down which only serves our masters.
So, where are we as a state? a nation?
The only thing I see for certain is uncertainty, apprehension and anger. None will unite us because we have been programmed to never trust our opposition, even if we agree with them. We have allowed our masters (promoted by our media) to control the narrative thus dictating what our individual reality is as they see fit. They censor what they support and spin the facts when caught.
My personal opinion, which is worthless, is that the strong have to recall the rights of the individual, at any cost, and if not soon, it will not matter.
Peace be with you. The wise know the harvesting of an animal for food is a necessary ritual to survive.

Not sure how to interpret this, but I swatted flies yesterday and 4 of them were wearing masks.
Mask just don’t work. I put one over my butt, when I farted, it still cleared the room.
Man, you should see how mad the Captain of the Bio Response Team gets when his team is called out to remove those discarded blue mask from the park. Don’t ask how I know this.
A couple of the Shot Police came to the door, I think I scared them when I opened the door in full scuba gear. Maybe it was the speargun, but damn those guys can run fast. Hey, I would have answered their question, I have nothing to hide.
My grandson is grounded from coming over for a month, it breaks my heart and I miss him. Seems when the principal said he had to mask up to enter, he wore the mask with the tongue sticking out we found and bought for him the other day. I can see the school administrations haven’t changed much over the years, still don’t have a sense of humor.
I got barred from one of the local liberal coffee shops. Guess the Megan Rapinoe lookalike server did like my joke. I had a note paper in front of me, put some notes down on it, and then started playing with my cellphone. I kept saying thing that were audible, like, “Oh, I didn’t know that. Really. Geez. I can find that stuff.” It got her attention. When I left, I made sure the notes were still on the table, “How do I know if I’m a Super Spreader? Alternative meds to the vaccines? How long should I put up with the fever and cough before I get checked at the ER? Should a person be drinking coffee when infected?” Another case of no sense of humor.
The Governor just instituted another mandatory indoor mask order, so the business owners all banned her from entering, not for mask and vaccination requirements, but for being so damned stupid.
I have a ventriloquist friend, he loves wearing and mask, and he loves to throw his feminine where people are disinfecting tables and such. “No, please, we just want to live. Oh no, not the children!” It freaks people out.
